Kappa
„Kappa“ (literally „river-child“) is a legendary creature in Japanese folklore. It is believed that a Kappa lives in river/ponds, has a body like a tortoise and a plate with water on the head (when the plate loses the water, Kappa will die!), eats cucumber and loves to play tricks on others! I gave a melody to a lovely short verse about Kappa written by very popular Japanese poet, Shuntaro Tanikawa.
Animated presentation thanks to a great contribution of my friends
(voice performance, animation, audio engineering).
A fantastic performance by the „Seibu boys and girls choir“
(from Suzuka City, Japan).
